Using this website

The writing, photographs, and course materials on this site belong to ActiGhana or to the people who supplied them. You may read the public pages and share links to them. You may not copy course materials or shop content for your own commercial use without our permission.

Do not misuse the site. That includes trying to break into an account, interfering with the shop or forms, or sending unlawful material through the contact form. We may refuse an order or a course place, or close an account, where we need to protect the institute or other visitors.

The shop

Items are offered as described on each product page. The price shown there is the price of the item, in Ghana cedis. We do not add a separate tax at checkout. If a delivery charge applies, it is shown before you place the order.

Price and payment

You pay by debit or credit card at checkout. Card payments are taken by Paystack on Paystack’s page. We do not store your full card number.

Placing an order

Checkout asks for a phone number so we can arrange delivery. On the checkout page you can review the items, the price, and your details, and you can correct them before you place the order. You can also leave without ordering.

Placing the order asks us to supply those items. We accept the order when we confirm it or when we deliver it. If we cannot supply an item, or a price on the site was clearly wrong, we will tell you before we supply it. If you have already paid for that item, we refund what you paid.

Delivery

We use the phone number on the order to arrange delivery. We tell you when to expect it. We do not promise a particular delivery date unless we confirm one to you. We may deliver the order ourselves or pass it to a courier. If an item is damaged, wrong, or does not arrive, use the Returns and Refunds page.

Courses

Asking about a course does not reserve a place. A place is confirmed only when we confirm it to you by email, phone, or message. The fee is the fee published on the course page, or the fee we state in that confirmation, whichever we confirm to you.

If we cancel a course, or we change the date and you cannot attend the new date, we refund the fees you have already paid.

If you cancel at least 7 days before the course starts, we refund the fees you have already paid. If you cancel later than that, or you miss the course after it has started, we do not refund the fee unless we agree to. A missed session is not refunded on its own.

Course materials

Notes, recordings, and other materials we give you for a course are for your own learning. You may not copy them for sale or publish them without our permission.

Changes

If we change these terms, the new version will be posted here with a new date. A change does not alter an order or a course place we have already confirmed, except where the law requires it.
